East Coast launches ‘I love trains’ week
From 11-17 August East Coast Trains are celebrating the nation’s love of train travel with I Love Trains week. A celebration of the uniquely British love for rail travel that has come to light following new research from East Coast Trains showing that more of us have found fun, frolics and romance on the rails than on the road or in the air.
Train travellers and rail fans are encouraged to get involved by sharing why they love trains via a dedicated website, www.ilovetrains.co.uk or East Coast’s Twitter feed @eastcoastuk using the hashtag #ilovetrains. With a whopping £5,000 cash prize to be won to create your own dream train adventure, commuters are clambering to share their stories. Branded East Coast photobooths are also making their way around the county – where people can share their stories and pick up some free goodies.
For the I Love Trains campaign we created the branding, which we then applied across the print, digital and outdoor advertising as well as on the photobooths. Plus, we designed and built ilovetrains.co.uk – the hub for all the content throughout the week. Our campaign video on the homepage brings the campaign to life, and encouraging entries to the site.
