Shortlisted for a Drum Search Award

We’re excited to announce that our Search team has been shortlisted for Best B2B SEO Campaign in The Drum Search Awards! The nomination is for our work with online printer, instantprint. The campaign, aimed at instantprint’s core audience of SME’s, was a light-hearted look at UK bosses’ biggest bugbears.

A survey was conducted of 500 UK small business owners, asking them questions about their most annoying employee habits and how to get on your boss’s good side. Once we’d segmented the data by region, gender and age, the most interesting and eye-opening stats were included in a creative, fun infographic and accompanying blog post. Kudos to instantprint for creating such a great infographic. FYI, South West bosses hate poor grammar and spelling, whereas Yorkshire bosses will be more offended if you steal the last tea bag. You’ve been warned…

The content was promoted with additional insights to top online publications, including lifestyle and business sites, as well as regional and national media. The campaign contributed to improved organic visibility, gaining 24 high quality backlinks and 11 citations – with coverage featured in the likes of Marie Claire, The Mirror and The Express.

Plus, we had some brilliant social media interaction helping to build further brand awareness, with former Dragon Theo Paphitis sharing the content on LinkedIn. Overall, a fantastic result!

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for the results on 25th April.
