adidas rugby – integrated marketing launch

We created an action-packed campaign to launch the brand new range of adidas rugby boots.

The range is made up of four boots – each designed to help players with features that complement their position and game. The brief from adidas was to create a visual language then launch the range in the UK and Europe, highlighting the individual benefit of each boot.

Our knowledge of rugby and the rivalry between players vying for dominance on the pitch inspired the campaign line ‘own your position’.

The campaign rolled out across retail and online with a suite of display banners. It neatly aligned with the adidas social media activity for the Six Nations on Facebook and Twitter, which was delivered by the Intermarketing Agency Digital team.

The final play in the integrated marketing campaign was a series of online films, which we produced and directed to explain the benefit of each boot to rugby players in greater detail.
