adidas – shopper marketing for the re-launch of the iconic Stan Smith shoe
We created an integrated retail campaign for adidas to celebrate the re-launch of their iconic Stan Smith shoe in Schuh stores across the UK. Our aim – create hype and excitement around adidas Originals to increase brand and product awareness, drive footfall and boost sales.
For Schuh’s flagship Oxford Street store we used our retail event management expertise to create and run an in-store event that saw street teams getting customers to engage with the brand. This included designing a Stan Smith window and product area which included a Wii tennis game. In addition to this, we drove traffic by giving out tennis ball shaped cake pops and ran a competition with a prize of £1,000 worth of gaming gear.
For the rest of the stores we developed an out-of-home campaign that included online executions and window vinyls to make Stan Smith the shoe to buy.
As a result of our retail shopper marketing campaign, the Schuh Oxford Street store completely sold out of adidas Stan Smiths on the day and had customers fighting over the last pair.
