Making the customer the star
The adidas Superstar is an icon. Its silhouette instantly recognisable thanks to Run DMC’s support back in the day. Fast forward to 2015, and adidas are making it the year of the Superstar. This time championed by David Beckham, Rita Ora and Pharrell Williams.
To introduce Superstars to a new generation, we created an in-store and online experience that invited people to ‘Superstar Yourself’.
Using a bespoke iPad app in store, customers could take their own Superstar portrait in the style of the creative. Then share it socially, as well as adding it to the campaign microsite, making themselves stars of the campaign.
