The Challenge.

Moda is a leading developer and operator of next-generation neighbourhoods to rent, with spaces to live, work and play. A lifestyle not a landlord. For their latest venture, on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront, they challenged us with creating a launch event as special as their new landmark skyscraper, The Lexington.


Making it happen.


We wanted to do something that had never been done before, so we created the world’s first virtual reality ground breaking.


The event marked the arrival of the project globally, taking place simultaneously in Liverpool and Bejing, where the project’s construction partners are based.

Taking detailed CAD drawings of the building, we built a virtual reality experience that took people on a unique journey through The Lexington’s spectacular 34-storey architecture and facilities.


Photorealistic renders, a guide narrative and 360º sound effects brought the building to life, from the first spade in the ground right through to completion.

The results.

Having just seen it and witnessed the visuals, I can’t wait for it to be built.
