East Coast – January Seat Sale

We put loads of bums on seats for East Coast with our sales promotion for incredible value on train travel to London.

January is the biggest month of the year for sales. So, to help lift the post-Christmas blues, we created an integrated marketing campaign offering train travel to London for as little as £5 – ensuring everyone could pick up a bargain.

Using impactful pressonline and radio above the line advertising, we sent out the message loud and clear while building on the success of our Feel at Home campaign.

The aim of the train seat sale was to generate £700,000 worth of revenue. And we’re proud to say that as a direct result of our integrated marketing campaign, it actually reached £2.5 million – an uplift of over £960,000 for the promotional period.
